Overall, 2014 was a good year. I knit and spun through quite a bit of fiber. I got to travel with my boyfriend and his 13 year old kid to meet his family and to spend some time with my dad. Work kept me super busy most of the fall and into the beginning of winter. I was also able to pay down a big portion of my debt and that makes me feel pretty optimistic about the future.
I had some major problems with my previous web host provider, but an awesome friend was able to help me get my domain changed over so that was a relief. The downside to that is I have not been able to import all of my previous web pages and blog history to the new domain. So I’m starting fresh in a way so that will be a challenge this year. Losing my data happened last year at one of the worst possible times. I was heading into the fall and busy with demonstrating spinning out at the Ren Fest and shortly after that I took some time out to spend at the Fall Yarn School. After that, the fall fundraising event season was upon us and my job took precedence for the next six weeks. Once that craziness was over, it was time for the Fiber Guild’s Creative Hand Sale and then it was the holiday season.
And now that the holiday season is winding down, it’s time for me to get back on track. I’ll probably be adding in some of my older content here and there as it strikes me. And so I can keep it all in one place.
And so we move forward to another new year. I’m excited to see what this year brings. I have some plans cooking up that I’m looking forward to sharing soon.
Happy New Year all!
